War, what is it good for? December 24, 2010

Profit of course. Many companies with strong ties to our government are making billions in wars that nobody wants. These twenty-five companies are the most egregious when it comes to profiteering.

When will people wake up and put a stop to this, one might wonder. It’s very possible that since all or most of the major media outlets just don’t or won’t cover demonstrations this more recent one didn’t get a nickle’s worth of notice. Imagine if the draft were still around, imagine the riots and demonstrations that would be taking place now just like the 60’s and 70’s. The government wants us all to follow along like fat dumb sheep. Stand up America, do something for a change.

not only has a history of raping this country through fraud, over-billing and bribery (with their cronies in government turning a blind eye) you can add total disregard for the rights of women in their employ.

It seems that Dick Cheney’s old employer made prospective female employees sign a waiver stating that they could not sue the company in the cases of sexual assault.

What? Are you kidding me? And when newly elected Senator Al Franken proposed an amendment to federal funding legislation that would ban money going to any contractor that limits/bans female rights to sue one would think this legislative amendment would pass with not one nay vote. Well guess again. Thirty, yes thirty elected officials voted against it

I’ll make it easy for all who read this, here is a list of the thirty senators so you know who to vote out of office when their term(s) expire:

Alexander (R-TN)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Bunning (R-KY)
Burr (R-NC)
Chambliss (R-GA)
Coburn (R-OK)
Cochran (R-MS)
Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Crapo (R-ID)
DeMint (R-SC)
Ensign (R-NV)
Enzi (R-WY)
Graham (R-SC)
Gregg (R-NH)
Inhofe (R-OK)
Isakson (R-GA)
Johanns (R-NE)

Risch (R-ID)

Arrogant war monger. March 20, 2008

It isn’t bad enough that George Bush keeps spewing garbage about Iraq or that his self-centered arrogance and fumbling orations have really made me dislike him and his ilk even more another moron has finally gotten my dander up and gets a good dose of a Gatzbo Rant.

This past week, while being interviewed by a well known and respected newsperson, Dick Cheney was confronted with the fact that 75% of Americans do not approve of the war in Iraq his response “So?” followed by a smirk that made my blood run cold.  This arrogant fool has added fuel to the fire of my dislike for the current administration.  Oh sure, he and George will be out of office in due time, not soon enough by the way.  So lighten up right? Wrong?  If you, the voter, believe that Republicans have a hero in John McCain, think again.  When he was interviewed and confronted with the same facts he said, “Well I disagree with the majority of Americans.”

Don’t kid yourself America.  If a Republican gets into office you definetely get more of the same.  I will cast my vote for Mr. Barrack Obama.  He has stated that he will pull our troops out of Iraq.  The naysayers state that if we do pull out of Iraq we will have lost and Iraq will fall into chaos and civil war.  So be it.  Let them be responsible for themselves.  Take the billions and billions of dollars spent and are being spent and use it to create jobs, figure out what to do about health care, finish the job in Afghanistan and rebuild our image around the world.
