Health Care Reform March 23, 2010

It was inevitable that the debate on this subject would not be assuaged just because the President just signed the Health Reform Act into law. Many on blogs across the country continue to critique and disparage the event now taking place.

According to those that keep track of such things the country is split almost 50/50 on whether or not this is a good outcome or not. Yet if you look at the percentage of Americans who actually voted in 2008 (56.8% in case you were wondering) that 50/50 split rings hollow.

If you are one of the 43.2% that didn’t vote just shut up for you have not earned the right to complain.

Now THAT is a mandate. November 5, 2008

With the election of President Elect Barack Obama, a man I am proud to say for whom I voted, I have faith in the belief that we will see a tremendous change in how we are looked at across the world.

I have faith in the belief that we are truely one America an America where anyone can succeed in their chosen career.

I have faith in the belief that our economy will grow and the current financial difficulties will soon fade from our memory.

I have faith in the belief that our children will be able to learn and grow.

I have faith in the belief that health care will be available to one and all.

I have faith in the belief that we will stride harder to harness renewable energies.

The overwhelming victory is a mandate, a mandate for the change we all have sought.

ONE POINT ONE TRILLION DOLLARS! September 29, 2008

That is what all Americans lost today.  Even if you think you are not an investor think again.  The drastic fall in the stock market which reflected the inability of our government to do something to jump start the economy has produced a mind boggling loss for one and all.  This is just another example of what the Bush policy has done to this country.  You might think this has no impact on you well guess what you are DEAD wrong.  The guy/gal on the corner who owns a business, you or someone you know, needs a home, car, credit to send your kids to school lost today.  The people you elected spoke their minds are they speaking yours.

So you say this whole thing has no impact on me! WRONG!  This impacts all of us, the world, maybe even the universe.  Something must be done.  Yes I do not want to pay for some Wall Street bastard or his Wall Street bastard cronies greed but I do not want my friends, family or this nation to suffer any longer.  Get the god damned thing fixed.  Get those republican bastards out of office, get the fuck out of Iraq, get this country back on its feet.

IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!!!

The dance is finally over. June 3, 2008

What had been speculated for quite some time has finally come to fruition.  The Democratic candidate is Barrack Obama.  Mr. Obama is our only hope for change.  My biggest hope is that he chooses a running mate that will further re-unite this great country.  He should pick someone who is, like himself, not from the good old boy network.  He will need support from every ethnic group in the country.  Hopefully he will not listen to those that think Hillary Clinton would be a good choice – all she would be is more of the same.

Still thinking about voting for John McCain? May 23, 2008

As we get closer and closer to what one might say will be the biggest election allowing us to change the direction of our great country we must soon decide who best can achieve that lofty goal.  If you think John McCain can do the job you had better watch these two videos.  They show exactly what you will be voting for.

McCain vs. McCain
McCain vs. McCain 2

Want a third Bush/Cheney term? That is exactly what you will get so wake up and make the change.

Arrogant war monger. March 20, 2008

It isn’t bad enough that George Bush keeps spewing garbage about Iraq or that his self-centered arrogance and fumbling orations have really made me dislike him and his ilk even more another moron has finally gotten my dander up and gets a good dose of a Gatzbo Rant.

This past week, while being interviewed by a well known and respected newsperson, Dick Cheney was confronted with the fact that 75% of Americans do not approve of the war in Iraq his response “So?” followed by a smirk that made my blood run cold.  This arrogant fool has added fuel to the fire of my dislike for the current administration.  Oh sure, he and George will be out of office in due time, not soon enough by the way.  So lighten up right? Wrong?  If you, the voter, believe that Republicans have a hero in John McCain, think again.  When he was interviewed and confronted with the same facts he said, “Well I disagree with the majority of Americans.”

Don’t kid yourself America.  If a Republican gets into office you definetely get more of the same.  I will cast my vote for Mr. Barrack Obama.  He has stated that he will pull our troops out of Iraq.  The naysayers state that if we do pull out of Iraq we will have lost and Iraq will fall into chaos and civil war.  So be it.  Let them be responsible for themselves.  Take the billions and billions of dollars spent and are being spent and use it to create jobs, figure out what to do about health care, finish the job in Afghanistan and rebuild our image around the world.

Please tell me it is a cruel joke. March 13, 2008

I’ve heard from several sources that Bush and his war monger crony Cheney are seriously considering waging war on Iran.  Please, please someone promise me that this is just a cruel joke.  If there is any iota of truth in this I think it is time for another revolution – and I don’t care if that sounds like tyranny.
