As you might have surmised by some of my posts here I am a liberal so much so that sometimes I have problems with right turns. There is currently a debate being discussed on my local radio station as to whether or not the Undiebomber should have the right not to talk after being read his Miranda rights.

My take is that he should be provided the same rights he would have in his country therefor if he has little or no rights there why should he have any rights here.

Supreme Court and Big Business. January 21, 2010

You have had to be living in a cave if you are not now aware of the recent Supreme Court decision allowing Big Business to dump millions of dollars into campaign coffers to get those that they want into government. It is not enough that we already are held sway by large corporations with highly paid lobbyist cajoling Senators and Congressmen to vote the way these big business bullies desire.

This is the most egregious assault on us, the voting public, ever known. We all must immediately contact our Congressmen and Senators and have them bring about an effort to get laws written that preclude corporate bigwigs and their giant coffers to put their puppets into office.

This link will take you to a site that will make it easy for you to express your concern.

not only has a history of raping this country through fraud, over-billing and bribery (with their cronies in government turning a blind eye) you can add total disregard for the rights of women in their employ.

It seems that Dick Cheney’s old employer made prospective female employees sign a waiver stating that they could not sue the company in the cases of sexual assault.

What? Are you kidding me? And when newly elected Senator Al Franken proposed an amendment to federal funding legislation that would ban money going to any contractor that limits/bans female rights to sue one would think this legislative amendment would pass with not one nay vote. Well guess again. Thirty, yes thirty elected officials voted against it

I’ll make it easy for all who read this, here is a list of the thirty senators so you know who to vote out of office when their term(s) expire:

Alexander (R-TN)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Bunning (R-KY)
Burr (R-NC)
Chambliss (R-GA)
Coburn (R-OK)
Cochran (R-MS)
Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Crapo (R-ID)
DeMint (R-SC)
Ensign (R-NV)
Enzi (R-WY)
Graham (R-SC)
Gregg (R-NH)
Inhofe (R-OK)
Isakson (R-GA)
Johanns (R-NE)
Kyl (R-AZ)
McCain (R-AZ) remember this guy?
McConnell (R-KY)
Risch (R-ID)
Roberts (R-KS)
Sessions (R-AL)
Shelby (R-AL)
Thune (R-SD)
Vitter (R-LA)
Wicker (R-MS)

Vote these people out of office, period.

Another black eye for Chicago. June 25, 2009

Chicago cop Anthony Abbate recently convicted of battering a female bartender less than half his weight got off with is basically a slap on the wrist by Cook County Judge John Fleming who stated “If I believed sentencing Anthony Abbate to prison would stop people from getting drunk and hitting people, I’d give him the maximum sentence,” Fleming said.

A video of the encounter has been widely seen showing this ape savagely punching and kicking the 125-pound Karolina Obrycka as she tended bar in February 2007. The altercation happened after she refused to serve him more drinks. Abbate’s defense attorney, Peter Hickey, stated that Obrycka used excessive force, throwing Abbate–who is more than twice her size–into a wall where he hit his head. Hickey argued that Abbate acted in self defense when he threw the woman into a wall and then to the floor.

This video is disturbing.

My hope is that Abbate, his disgusting attorney Hickey and clueless loser Judge John Fleming get their just rewards. Abbate should lose his job, Hickey should be disbarred and Fleming must not be voted to the bench again.

Lest you forget here is an image of Abbate (middle) and his attorney (right).
