Health Care Reform March 23, 2010

It was inevitable that the debate on this subject would not be assuaged just because the President just signed the Health Reform Act into law. Many on blogs across the country continue to critique and disparage the event now taking place.

According to those that keep track of such things the country is split almost 50/50 on whether or not this is a good outcome or not. Yet if you look at the percentage of Americans who actually voted in 2008 (56.8% in case you were wondering) that 50/50 split rings hollow.

If you are one of the 43.2% that didn’t vote just shut up for you have not earned the right to complain.

Now THAT is a mandate. November 5, 2008

With the election of President Elect Barack Obama, a man I am proud to say for whom I voted, I have faith in the belief that we will see a tremendous change in how we are looked at across the world.

I have faith in the belief that we are truely one America an America where anyone can succeed in their chosen career.

I have faith in the belief that our economy will grow and the current financial difficulties will soon fade from our memory.

I have faith in the belief that our children will be able to learn and grow.

I have faith in the belief that health care will be available to one and all.

I have faith in the belief that we will stride harder to harness renewable energies.

The overwhelming victory is a mandate, a mandate for the change we all have sought.

What had been speculated for quite some time has finally come to fruition.  The Democratic candidate is Barrack Obama.  Mr. Obama is our only hope for change.  My biggest hope is that he chooses a running mate that will further re-unite this great country.  He should pick someone who is, like himself, not from the good old boy network.  He will need support from every ethnic group in the country.  Hopefully he will not listen to those that think Hillary Clinton would be a good choice – all she would be is more of the same.

Still thinking about voting for John McCain? May 23, 2008

As we get closer and closer to what one might say will be the biggest election allowing us to change the direction of our great country we must soon decide who best can achieve that lofty goal.  If you think John McCain can do the job you had better watch these two videos.  They show exactly what you will be voting for.

Want a third Bush/Cheney term? That is exactly what you will get so wake up and make the change.
